Hello anybody,

At 12:30pm today I received a call from HR and was asked some preliminary questions, and at the finish of the telephone call he said he'd similar me to come in for an interview to speak with the hiring manager. We gear up a time and identify to come across (Tuesday @ ten:30am). He told me he would send me a confirmation electronic mail with the time etc and that I must reply back to ostend. It's been a few hours since the call was conducted and I nonetheless haven't received an email from him. Should I call him by the stop of today to make sure he didn't forget? Or should I wait until monday before doing so?

Thank you.

Look, I know you are probably new in the job game but you REALLY need to go some assertiveness.

This is now TWICE you've posted on this board that someone hasn't gotten back to yous within your own personal time frame and you lot immediately think y'all're out of the running.

Is this the same job that you posted about earlier where y'all were concerned you hadn't gotten a call dorsum? Or a different task?

As everyone stated: Expect til Mon earlier lunchtime to phone call.

Alternatively: bank check your spam folder. Sometimes emails get caught in that.

Not familiar with this poster and that is a very good idea to check the spam folder. That being said if the OP is working currently they have to make some blazon of organization for needing time off on Tuesday.

And then having a confirmation ASAP is important. If for case they're going to utilize the "Dr. appt" for Tuesday morning, y'all desire to know that you actually have a Tuesday morning interview.

Not having an answer back till the day before might wait suspect to your electric current employer when y'all requite less than a day'south detect about the "Dr. appt".

So I can empathize their frustration, and I would never but prove up every bit one poster suggested. Maybe years agone, but not these days. You will be met with a blank stare.

Email now. Mon mid-day is mode too rushed. What if they really forgot, and finish upward beingness pulled in for a ton of meetings Mon afternoon? You're screwed if that happens. Email at present and it's the first matter they'll see in their e-mail on Monday morning.

If they don't answer nigh the end of the twenty-four hour period Monday, CALL and ask. Being thick skinned helps.

This happened a couple of times to me when interviewer doesn't transport me a confirmation e-mail until the twenty-four hour period earlier the in person interview. I would just send a friendly email Mon morning time to ostend. Just say something along the lines of "Hey, it was slap-up chatting with you terminal week and I am very excited to meet with you in person to talk over the position in more than item. I would like to confirm our interview engagement and time for tomorrow at 1:30 pm. Thanks!" and they should get back to yous with an address.
